Dr. Katie Rawlings, DVM, MBA
Dr. Katie Rawlings discovered her passion for veterinary medicine at an early age, but it wasn’t until she completed her education and started her own family that she could fully immerse herself in a life surrounded by animals. She graduated from Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (WSU CVM) with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
In addition to her love for animals, Dr. Rawlings is passionate about the outdoors. She cherishes the opportunity to share her love of nature with her children, Hazel and Wyatt, as they develop their own passions in sports and animal care. Whether hiking, exploring, or cheering from the sidelines, that’s where you’ll often find her outside of work.
Dr. Rawlings also enjoys giving back to the profession as an adjunct professor at WSU CVM, contributing to the communications program and the innovative Diagnostic Challenge. She is dedicated to mentoring future veterinarians while strengthening the human-animal bond through her work. At home, she shares her life with her husband, Chris, and their two children, finding joy in the balance between her professional and personal passions.
